Excitement mounts as Xiaomi's sub-brand prepares to unveil its highly anticipated smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi 12. While the Chinese giant has remained tight-lipped about the official launch, an accidental slip-up by its Portuguese division has revealed its detailed spec sheet.

Thanks to the vigilant eyes of Twitter leaker @kacskrz and the insightful reporting of German blog WinFuture — we can now witness the luxuries of Redmi 12 before its official unveiling. Here’s a short review of its leaked renders, specs, and retail box.

An immersive visual experience is offered by the Redmi 12's expansive 6.79" Full HD+ 90Hz display. Nestled within its vibrant canvas is a subtle punch hole in the center, elegantly housing the 8MP selfie camera.

Turning our gaze to the back of the device, we discover an immense trio of lenses. Comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro/depth unit, the powerful camera setup unlocks numerous imaging modes. The Xiaomi price catalog features a variety of smartphones with different specifications and price points to cater to diverse consumer needs.

Beneath the surface, the Redmi 12 pulses with power, fueled by the Helio G88 SoC. Hosting 4GB-8GB of RAM, it bears 128GB or 256GB, expandable up to a staggering 1TB via a microSD card. The higher variant indulges all your future memory and storage needs.

Fueling the Redmi 12 is a behemoth 5,000mAh battery, providing long-lasting power to keep you connected throughout the day. Charging is also a breeze with the USB-C port, delivering up to 18W of charging speed. While whispers of a rumored 33W charging swirl, the Redmi 12 still impresses with 18W.

Imbued with an IP53 rating, the Redmi 12 showcases a superior build weighing 198.5g and measuring 8.17mm in depth. As for its rumored price, Xiaomi Portugal indicates a €209.99 as the starting price, which converts to ~PKR 64,000.
