Xiaomi Poco X5 Series Leaks with Renders; Color Dressings, Builds, and Specs Tipped

Xiaomi will soon make the Poco X5 series official. Two products, X5 and X5 Pro, will break out on February 6th. Both devices have leaked before, but most images on their designs have been vague. Recent developments have revealed their shades and appearance through high-quality renders.

Poco X5

Grey and Green are the two color options for the vanilla Poco X5 5G. As expected, its design is identical to the Redmi Note 12 5G, with Poco's typical black accent wrapping the camera and housing the brand name.

Design apart, X5 also shares specifications with Redmi Note 12. On the POCO X5, users will find a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution at 1080 x 2400 pixels, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The device will have three back cameras endowed with 48MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP auxiliary sensors.

For selfies, there's a 13MP unit under the dotted cutout upfront. Unlike Redmi Note 12 5 G's SD 4 Gen 1 chip, Poco X5 has an old-yet-powerful Snapdragon 695 core followed by a 6GB memory option. The phone provides an IP54 rating.

Poco X5 Pro

Poco X5 Pro borrows its design from Redmi Note 12 Pro. On its frosted matte Blue finish, a glossy accent horizontally extends from its camera populating "POCO" branding inside. It's the same case with Pro's yellow finish, though it has the X series' signature appearance.

On its front end lies a 6.67-inch AMOLED visor boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p Full HD+ resolution, and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It's rated for IP68 resistance against dust and water splashes.

Powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 778G chip, the phone backs a 5000mAh cell and high-end 67W fast charging. In the province of photography, Poco endows X5 Pro with 108MP primary unit, followed by an Ultra-wide 8MP and an auxiliary 2MP lens. A 16MP selfie unit resides under its punch-holed screen.
