The X5 series by Poco finally unveils, and it's deploying globally. As expected, the lineup includes X5 5G and X5 Pro 5G. Both devices have launched with super competitive specs and ultimate value for money. Here's a rundown of features the duo offers out of the box.

Poco X5

It's the less premium sibling in the duo, featuring a rectangular camera island inside a matte black horizontal plate with POCO branding. Instead of a boxy shape, X5 provides slightly rounder edges, identical to Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12 standard variant.

The phone boasts a high-end 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a pixel range equivalent to FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Its brightness peaks at 1200nits. The power button has an embedded fingerprint reader, and the screen has a non-intrusive punch hole.

Under its hood lies a Snapdragon 695 chip, enabled with a 5G modem, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256Gigs storage onboard. The camera embedded in the screen is a 13MP selfie shooter, while on the back, it has three sensors, 48MP + 8MP wide + 2MP macro. Powered by a 5000mAh rated for 33W charging, the Poco X5 5G starts at 249$ (~PKR 68,500) for 6+128GB.

Poco X5 Pro 5G

Unlike the standard X5, the Pro variant has an all-out premium build, with a boxy frame, highly immersive AMOLED screen, uniform bezel waist on the chin, and Poco's signature yellow-black appearance on one of its default colorways. Rumors foretold the X5 Pro shares design with Redmi Note 12 Pro, and they were true.

The yellow power key on the side doubles as a biometric reader for swift and secure unlocking. X5 Pro 5G carries similar dimensions for the screen but provides an extra HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The AMOLED 120Hz panel on Pro looks better in the boxy form factor. The Pro X5 holds a primary 108MP unit under three of its lenses.

Behind the screen, a Snapdragon 778G engine is running at the core, powering its Android 13 operating system. Having a vapor cooling chamber above the CPU, the Pro X5 prevents performance from throttling. Powered by a 5000mAh cell, max 256GB storage, up to 8GB RAM, and 67W charging support, the phone starts at around 299$ (~PKR 82,500) for the 6+128GB option.
