Xiaomi Poco X5 Series Leaked with Specifications on an Online Retail Platform Before Launch

Xiaomi’s latest Poco X5 lineup is in the works. The rumor mill claims that new models, X5 and X5 Pro, should unveil globally. A leaked banner from a few days ago confirmed their launch slated for February 6th. The launch is nearing at light speed, and the series’ entire feature list has surfaced ahead of it.

CityTel, a European online retailer, listed both X5 and X5 Pro on its website, revealing their specifications. With the retailer’s background, the claims seem legit. Here’s a rundown of the leaked specs.

Poco X5

In the top center of its 6.67-inch display, POCO X5 will have a punch hole cutout and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protecting it. The screen has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080p with high pixel density.

Poco X5 is almost a redesigned Redmi Note 12 5G, except for the processor. Instead of Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, Poco uses an older but faster SD 695 SoC. The new model takes power from a 5000mAh cell with 33W fast charging. Its memory configurations haven’t surfaced yet.

X5’s optical setup includes a 48 MP primary unit, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP auxiliary sensor. It provides a 13 MP front camera for selfies. Featuring shades of Black, Blue, and Green, the X5 measures 7.98mm deep and weighs 189 grams.

Poco X5 Pro

The Pro model acquires a slightly improved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating to protect a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models share an identical screen, but the X5 Pro can handle the refresh rate better thanks to its high-end SoC.

Under X5 Pro’s shell lies a Snapdragon 778G chipset integrated with Adreno 642L GPU. Its visual performance is on par with Qulacomm’s flagship SD 855 chip. The new Poco Pro model backs a 5000mAh cell with a 67W charging speed.

Poco X5 Pro has a 108MP primary sensor in the triple camera setup, followed by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth mapper. It also has an IP68 rating and ships in Black, Blue, and Poco Yellow skin formats. Both models expect Android 13 x MIUI 14 out of the box.
