Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra Visits Geekbench with Chipset, RAM, and Android Version

Poco F8 Ultra appears to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This is a pure flagship handset. The Geekbench results are in for this phone, and the numbers are staggering. There’s no telling when the F8 series launch will commence, but this Ultra variant has spilled most of its secrets already. Here’s everything we know about the device.

Well, the new Geekbench listing vaguely described the Poco F8 Ultra’s chip with clock speeds. There’s only one mobile platform SoC in the world right now that can hit 4.61GHz speeds. It’s obviously the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

The model code you see at the top was also once seen on Thailand’s NBTC database, which is how we know it’s the Poco F8 Ultra. Now, this device was tested with the Geekbench application version 6.5. These results will change with version: some may show higher or lower scores.

The single-core test run ended with 3,327 points. Poco F8 Ultra hit a 9,872 score with all eight cores. These numbers are up there with Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The latest Xiaomi Poco mobile is a tad behind in the multicore test. It could be a sign of thermal throttling and a small cooling chamber, but let’s wait for an official confirmation just to be sure.

The Poco F7 will also bring 16GB of RAM, as far as this specific benchmark result is concerned. The scorecard showed an Android 16 system on this device, which means you will probably find Xiaomi’s custom Hyper OS 3.0 on the F8 Ultra. Sadly, Geekbench had nothing else to reveal about this device.

Other presumed details on this device include a 6500mAh battery and up to 100W charging. The specs we’ve found so far, coincidental or not, pretty much align with the Redmi K90 Pro Max from China. That leads us to believe the Poco F8 Ultra might just be the same Redmi phone with a different label.

The Ultra may have a 6.9” OLED with a 2K resolution panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. An ultrasonic fingerprint ID is slapped on the front. That same screen will also have a 50MP selfie shooter. There’s supposed to be a triple 50MP lens setup on the rear. We’ll let you know if any other updates appear. Keep watching the news.
