Shortly, Redmi is gearing up to introduce an upgraded version of the Poco C50, monikered as the Xiaomi Poco C55, and it's sure to come with some notable improvements. The newcomer has had entries on platforms like TKDN, EEC, and IMDA signed with the model number "22127PC95G." An identical code has now surfaced on Geekbench and NBTC.

POCO C55 has received certification from the NBTC. With the inclusion of model number 22127PC95G, the document essentially states that the phone is a global variant bound to launch in Thailand. "G" at the end of the model number signifies its international status.

It has also verified the new device's name, POCO C55. Details about the phone specs on NBTC are sparse to non-existence; However, Geekbench has revealed plenty to pique the interest of budget-conscious users. Here's everything their benchmark listing has ratted out.

The memory hub inside Poco C55 limits the RAM to 3 Gigabytes, and the storage unit will come pre-loaded with Android 12 OS. The latest Xiaomi Poco mobile has a 2+6 core architect, peaking at the clock speed of 2.0GHz, and boasting 1165 points on a multi-core test. Similarly, its single-core trial yielded 368 points, marking an entry-level SoC performance.

The core specs and benchmark results identify the chipset as MediaTek Helio G85. All these stats align with Poco C55's Indian variant, which got announced recently. It's safe to assume that the Global variant boasts an identical feature set.

It should bring a 6.71-inch screen, a 60Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. In the province of photography, Poco C55 Global will stand out with a 50MP primary sensor and a 5MP selfie shooter. The accompanying battery size is 5000mAh, rated for a 10W power stream.
