Xiaomi Poco C40 Unveiled in Vietnam with JR510 SoC, 6,000mAh Battery, and Low Price

Despite being scheduled for June 16th, the POCO C40 ended up being revealed ahead of time. That's because the device already had all of its details published by "Dien May Xanh" an Official Xiaomi online retailer in Vietnam. Though the e-commerce site is running a sales countdown timer till 16 June, the design, specs, price, and every tiny detail are officially out.


Xiaomi Poco C40 rocks the typical design language of the Redmi 10C, the new handset features a fingerprint reader below the camera module and adopts polycarbonate construction, and on the back, there is a kind of synthetic leather with possibly dry mud patterns.

The smartphone's display is 6.71 inches and sports an HD+ resolution, there is also a drop notch above to accommodate the 5 MP front camera. The brightness peaks at 400 nits. The processing power is guaranteed by the JR510 chipset, A chip quite comparable to the Snapdragon 450 or Helio G35 SoCs. The handset packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.


Moving on to the rear optics, the POCO C40 has a 13 MP main sensor, in addition to another 2MP depth Camera. The housing also contains an instant fingerprint scanner and Poco’s branding stamp. You can pick from black, yellow, or green colors.

Powering the internals is a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The operating system is Android 11 which runs underneath MIUI 13. The official price of the Poco C40 in Vietnam is 3,490,000 dongs or around Rs. 30,000.
