Xiaomi has set the stage to debut its latest foldable device, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. The device marks a significant milestone for Xiaomi, featuring the company's first foldable phone with four rear cameras and a collaboration with Leica. Reportedly, it is due for launch in August, so get excited.

Though camera specifics are yet to become official, rumors suggest that the MIX Fold 3 will house a primary Sony IMX800 sensor, accompanied by an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto snapper with 3.2x optical zoom, and a periscope telephoto lens with 5x zoom.

It puts Xiaomi in league with Vivo and Huawei, who currently offer foldable devices with a quad-camera setup on the rear, incorporating wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses, including one with a periscope configuration.

In terms of design, the MIX Fold 3 impresses with its stylish white curved-glass body, housing an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz main display, complemented by a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz cover screen. Additionally, there are rumors about a hidden under-display camera on the new Fold Xiaomi mobile, similar to Samsung’s latest folder.

Beneath the surface, the MIX Fold 3 will house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and potentially 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Running on Android 13 with the MIUI Fold 14.1 overlay, the device promises a seamless foldable experience.

Powering this innovative device is a robust 4,800mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, according to 3C certification. The recent MIIT certification also confirms 5G connectivity.

Manufactured in Xiaomi's intelligent factory located in Beijing's Yizhuang, the MIX Fold 3 benefits from an advanced assembly line, ensuring precision and reliability throughout the production.
