After the Xiaomi 15 series, we now await the “15T” variants to launch in the global markets. Both Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are expected to debut by September, like the previous generations. But, there’s no official confirmation to put them affront. Lucky for us, the rumor mill has been keeping tabs on both these devices, and a new leak gives away their camera, charging, and battery specs.
The leak we spotted today only spills the camera details for a Xiaomi 15T Pro model. An X tipster that goes by the handle @paperking13 claims that the Pro’s Main camera is a 50MP Omnivision OVX9100 sensor. That’s the same module we found on the standard Xiaomi 15.
The 15T Pro might have a secondary sensor with a 13MP Omnivision OV13B ultrawide unit. Its tertiary camera is also supposed to be the same as the base Xiaomi 15, which is a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto shooter. As for the selfie camera, the leaker namechecked an S5KKDS front sensor, though its details remain a secret.
Xiaomi 15T is reported to have almost the same camera stats as the Pro, but the primary camera might get swapped for a lower-quality outsole. We have to wait for more sources to uncover the true camera specs for the baseline Xiaomi 15T. While we wait for more sources to uncover the true camera specs for the baseline Xiaomi 15T, those interested can refer to the Xiaomi price list for a better idea of where it might be positioned.
We found another tweet from the same source that had both the vanilla and Pro variant’s battery and charging details. The Pro, as the name implies, gets a faster charging speed of 90W. The Xiaomi 15T is around two-thirds of the way there with its 67W charging input.
The charging number and camera specs might vary, but both phones come with virtually the same battery capacity. They each have a 5500mAh cell, which could use a Si/C anode for an extra slim design. Also, one of them might have wireless charging support, same as last time.
It isn’t confirmed yet, but the 15T could get an upgraded Dimensity 8400 chip, and the 15T Pro, a Dimensity 9400 Plus. These are assumed to replace the D8300 and D9300 chips we saw last year with the 14T and 14T Pro. If you find yourself invested in this duo, stick around for more details as the story continues to develop.
