Xiaomi 14 Storage Options, Launch Date, and Pricing Details; Official Promo Shots Leak

Hot on the heels of the successful global launch of the Xiaomi 13T, the highly-anticipated Xiaomi 14 series is ready to dazzle its home market in China. In a recent surprise leak, the full specs were laid bare, along with the launch date and official prices for Xiaomi's next-generation flagship, the Xiaomi 14.


According to the leaked poster, the Xiaomi 14 is scheduled for liftoff on October 27, 2023 (Friday), with sales commencing in China on October 31, 2023 (Tuesday). Four variants will take off, starting from 12GB+256GB and going up to 16GB+1TB.

The leaked poster, sourced from Chinese Xiaohongshu user 5641400486, showcases the Xiaomi 14 flaunting a prominent square camera module housing three Leica-branded sensors. This camera setup boasts a 50MP OV50H primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto unit.


In terms of display, the Xiaomi 14 boasts a 6.44-inch C8 OLED 12-bit screen with an impressive 1.5K resolution. The Xiaomi 5G new model offers a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, an eye-popping peak brightness of 2,800 nits, and supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. 


Audiophiles will delight in the dual-stereo speakers, while the phone is packed tightly with IP68-certified for rugged durability. It even features an IR Blaster. Beneath the surface, the leak reveals that the Xiaomi 14 has the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and "UFS 4.0 Enhanced" storage.

It also boasts a robust VC liquid cooling system for efficient heat dissipation. Keeping the device lit is a substantial 4,600mAh battery with support for lightning-fast 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The starter variant with 256Gigs will retail at ~USD 547, and the highest-end 1TB option will cost ~USD 684 (prices converted from Chinese Yuan).
