Previously, the company stated that their latest flagship duo, Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, is imminent for Global release, though there was no mention of an exact launch date. Web-wide gossip mentioned MWC 2023 as the launch base for the lineup. As it turns out, the rumors were true.

Currently, Xiaomi 13 series is only available for retail in China, with a global release anticipated soon. The chain has finally confirmed the launch date for one of its products. The latest MI 13 Pro teaser has slated the device for February 26th.

There's no mention of vanilla Mi 13, though Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirms both products will launch simultaneously in a tweet. He says, "The Xiaomi 13 Series Launch event is on February 26th!" hinting that they have more than one device at bay. Since both models are officially out for retail in the native land, their specs are no mystery.

With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, Xiaomi 13 Pro offers 16GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage in the highest-end configuration. The new Xiaomi 5G mobile sports a 6.73-inch QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and an AMOLED panel, all energized by a 4820mAh cell (120W).

In Optics, it dominates photography using LEICA tuned 50MP + 50MP + 50MP camera configuration. 32MP selfie unit resides under the screen pin-hole, and the phone boots to an Android 13 x MIUI 14 OS.

Standard Xiaomi 13 mounts the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC at the helm but uses a smaller 4500mAh cell backed by lite 67W fast charging. Its memory combos start at 8GB + 128GB and max out at 12GB + 512GB with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It features a smaller 6.36-inch OLED 120Hz screen with a 32MP selfie camera embedded within it. Both models have an under-display fingerprint ID.
