Vivo Y78 Plus (T1 Edition) Debuts with a Curved 120Hz OLED & Snapdragon 695 SoC

Vivo has added a delightful twist to its smartphone repertoire by introducing the Y78 Plus T1 edition. Building upon the success of the standard Y78+, the new T1 edition retains the striking curved design and features some upgrades that could make it a favorite among tech enthusiasts.


With a dash of style, the Vivo Y78+ (T1) boasts a "porcelain texture technology" that elevates its aesthetic appeal. Available in enchanting shades like "Warm Sun Gold," "Sky Blue," and "Moon Shadow Black," the T1 edition encapsulates elegance and sophistication. 

The smartphone showcases a splendid 6.78-inch OLED display, treating users to a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The immersive visual experience is further emphasized by a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut plus 105 percent NTSC colors.


Under the hood, the Vivo Y78+ (T1) flexes a Snapdragon 695 core, harmonized with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device offers ample storage options varying from 128 GB to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The latest Vivo Y mobile brings a robust 5000mAh battery rated for 44W fast charging.


In the province of photography, Vivo Y78+ (T1) flaunts a versatile dual-camera setup on its back. This dynamic duo comprises a 50MP primary camera fortified with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 2MP portrait lens, delivering impressive photographic capabilities. 

On the front, an 8MP camera awaits to capture delightful selfies and help with engaging video calls. The T1 edition brings the latest Android 13 OS, adorned with the OriginOS 3 skin. The device also supports dual SIM functionality, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a convenient USB-C port, and the ever-present 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo Y78+ (T1) edition is exclusively available in China. Its pricing starts at 1599 Yuan (~$219/PKR 65,000) for the base 8GB+128GB variant, while the 256GB model beckons with a price tag of 1799 Yuan (~$246/PKR 73,000).
