BBK chain brand Vivo always comes up with great budget-efficient phones. One of those phones, labeled Vivo Y35, silently went official on August 15th in the Indonesian market. Although Y35 feels like a rehashed Vivo Y33T from the low-budget segment, it offers some great features worth pointing out.

Vivo Y35's design seems to be an excellent place to start. The rear presents a streamlined finish with flat borders and rounded corners. The camera island protrusion is minimal, and three sensors live inside. The sensors pair a 50MP primary lens with 2MP depth and 2MP Macro units.

Turning the phone around, you'll see an immersive 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen, feature-packed with a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution — (1080 x 2408 pixels) at ~ 401 PPI. Its screen-to-body ratio stands under 85%, and the display's brightness maxes out at 550 nits. The iconic V-notch on the font hides a 16MP selfie snapper.

The all-new Y35 carries a budget Vivo smartphone price tag alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset under the hood. It's an octa-core 4G chip based on a 6nm manufacturing process. The Adreno 610 GPU handles the graphic performance here. You are looking at a solid 8GB memory doubled up using 8GB software-based memory expansion for all-day multitasking. There's a modest 128GB storage space as well.

Vivo Y35 has an IP54 rating for minor dust & water resistance. The Power button on the side has a fingerprint sensor implanted for security. It features a 5000mAh battery with charging support of 44W. The company claims 34 minutes of top-up will take your battery from 0-70%, and there are five features built-in for charging protection. The phone runs Android 12 x Funtouch OS 12 UI right out of the box.

Vivo Y35 offers two color choices Dawn Gold and Agate Black. Per the typical launch schedule by Vivo, Pakistan should be looking at an official debut in the coming days. The expected price starts from ~PKR 49,000/-
