Vivo Y33s 5G to Debut in February; Entry-level Specs and Images Certified

Vivo Y33s is a new 4G phone rolled out to several Asian countries, including Pakistan. And Vivo is already refreshing it with a 5G chip. The upcoming Vivo Y33s 5G is debuting on February 12. But its specs and product mockups were certified by the Chinese government ahead of time.


The China Telecom library lists the Vivo Y33s 5G under the model number ‘V2166A.’ Vivo has slightly redesigned the Y33s 5G. It rocks a dual camera, flat frame, metal rails, and a notched display. In addition, the phone comes in Nebula Blue, Flourite Black, and Early Snow Dawn finishes. 

We’re looking at a 6.51” screen, peaking at a 720P resolution. The front camera embedded in this panel is 8MP. And the rear camera system features a 13MP wide and 2MP portrait shooter. The body weighs 185g and measures 8.25mm in thickness.


The engine inside the New model Vivo mobile Y33s 5G is the Dimensity 700 — the most basic 5G chip from MediaTek. It’s powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 18W FlashCharge support. You can pick from 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options. And 128GB of internal storage is expandable via a microSD card. Android 11 x FunTouchOS runs on this hardware.

As for the pricing, the 4GB version starts from 1,599 Yuan (~ Rs. 44,400.) And the 8GB variant is priced at 1,699 Yuan (~ Rs. 47,000.)
