It will be months before the Vivo X500 series is unveiled, but leakers are slowly painting a picture of what’s coming. Digital Chat Station leaked a few details about the standard Vivo X500 today. We have the potential camera stats, display, battery, and chipset. This is what we learned.

DCS has found an engineering sample of the Vivo X500. And the leaker decided to put all of its details on Weibo for everyone to see. The battery may be its biggest upgrade. The older X300 was built around a 6040mAh battery in the global market.
The X500 might boost that to 7500mAh, give or take, which will make it a true two-day phone. That’s not the only detail he shared in the leak, but it’s the only good news. We do remember the Vivo X300 having a 200MP main sensor, but the X500 could drop that to a 50MP 1/1.28” ultralarge main sensor.

The camera could be an upgrade. But it’s hard to ascertain the company’s reason to abandon the 200MP outsole. Anyway, DCS also reported something about a periscope telephoto camera without giving specifics. He also threw in a few details about the screen and chipset. Here you can find Vivo Price Catalog in Pakistan 2026 for detailed specs, features, and updated prices.

The screen is a little bigger this year. The X500 is apparently using a 6.59” OLED, which means the phone will fall out of the compact category. The chipset may be a sore point. They might repeat last year’s chipset, if what DCS claims is legit.

The leak says a 3nm DX5 chip is found on the X500 sample. “Sample” being the keyword, it might just apply to the prototype unit alone. A 3nm DX5 chip is code for Dimensity 9500, which came with the Vivo X300. Rumor mill has been claiming the DX6 Dimensity 9600 SoC inside the new model, but Digital Chat Station’s predictions are usually accurate.
That DX5 chip is still a flagship, and no slouch by any means. It’s a 4.21 GHz 3nm platform with the Arm G1-Ultra GPU. Let’s hope that Vivo doesn’t make it a pattern to use the same chips across two generations. The launch is months away, so things might still change. Keep watching the news for updates.
