Vivo has sent out the invites to join the launch event for the Vivo X300 Ultra in Barcelona. Yes, they’ve chosen MWC 2026 as the venue for the keynote, so we suspect the X300 Ultra will debut between 2nd and 5th March.
They don’t just plan to release this handset in China, by the way. Choosing MWC as the launch platform is definitely a sign that the X300 Ultra will launch internationally. We learned that Vivo is addressing the keynote as X300 Ultra’s first global preview.
Of course, Vivo will have its own booth at the MWC, and you can bet Vivo X300 Ultra won’t be the only device on display. The company shared a press release, and it says X300 and X300 Pro, next to X Fold 5, and the Vivo V70 series are also being presented at the booth.
They obviously want to flex their entire global mobile ecosystem. And we can only say aye to the competition Vivo brings to the market. Anyway, they still haven’t said a word about Vivo new Ultra Mobile specs. Last we heard, the phone’s camera specs had leaked.
Apparently, it’s a handset with dual 200MP cameras. There’s possibly a 200MP Main shooter on the Vivo X300 Ultra. It may have a non-zoom 35mm focal length. The sensor could be Sony LYT 901. It’s said that there’s a second 200MP sensor on this phone with a periscope telephoto lens.
That 200MP Main LYT 901 sensor won’t be an ordinary camera system. There’s a chance that it will have a continuous zoom from 35mm to 85mm. It’s possible that an extra multispectral sensor is introduced this time. It would boost the color accuracy for photos and across videos.
The leaker said this is a custom 5MP multispectral sensor. It’s a large-sized outsole. And there are a high number of color channels built in. There’s also a 50MP ultrawide lens onboard. We’ll know soon enough how much of that is actually accurate. Keep watching the news for updates.
