The X200 Ultra’s camera setup is one of the best in the world. But Vivo plans to push past that. They continue to tease the Vivo X300 Ultra. The main and telephoto camera details were shared publicly in their last post. Now, the ultrawide lens has been revealed by the company’s product manager.

Han Baxiao posted a photo on Weibo to share the phone’s internal camera layout with the public. The X300 Ultra has three cameras and an auxiliary fourth lens, which Baxiao hides with an emoji. We’ll circle back to that one later. Our main subject today is actually the Ultrawide camera.
The newcomer has a 50MP ultrawide sensor. That’s the lens in the bottom right corner, and it looks the smallest of the bunch. This is actually a Sony Lytia 818 outsole. The Weibo post had its exact specifications. It is a 1/1.28” aperture lens. And they’ve bumped the Ultrawide’s stability this year.

Apparently, the Vivo new Ultra mobile Ultrawide camera is now CIPA 6.0 stabilized. The older version met the CIPA 5.0 standard. This will definitely help the phone’s low-light camera performance and shaky images. We shouldn’t leave the rest of its camera setup out of the discussion.

Vivo X300 Ultra will be known for its dual 200MP cameras. The company has already confirmed a 200MP Main shooter on this device. It may have a non-zoom 35mm Sony LYT 901 sensor. It’s said that there’s a second 200MP sensor on this phone with a periscope telephoto lens.

It’s not just a revised telephoto camera from the X200 Ultra. They’ve done something different here. Vivo has brought continuous zoom to the periscope camera this time. We learned that it will have a 35mm to 85mm smooth continuous optical zoom.
Vivo X300 Ultra’s camera setup is also way more color-accurate. That’s partly because of the 5MP multispectral sensor. It’s densely packed with color channels and dedicated to Skin Tones and White Balance accuracy. Of course, all the camera processing is done by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. More details are coming soon. Keep watching the news.
