Vivo X300 Ultra Tipped with BOE 6.82-inch Display & No Action Button on the Side

There’s one more device in the X300 lineup that hasn’t launched yet: the Vivo X300 Ultra. The rumor mill says it will debut in March 2026 in China and probably head to the global market from there. Digital Chat Station has found out a few interesting details about the Vivo X300 Ultra. This is what he shared on his Weibo profile.

DCS has apparently got his hands on a Vivo X300 Ultra engineering sample. Its screen is 6.82 inches, so the phone is probably the same size as last time. That is a BOE display, by the way. There was nothing on the refresh rate, but the leaker did reveal that this is an LTPO panel.

Not only is the display size the same as last time, but the resolution is also identical at 2K or 1440p. Uniform slim bezels are also a possibility here. DCS said that a metal frame will return, though he didn’t specify whether it’s the old Aluminium design or if they are finally doing a Titanium build for Vivo's new flagship mobile.

They are definitely not giving up on the flat look just yet. This one also has straight edges and a completely flat display. The source also has doubts about the camera button returning to the Ultra phone.

DCS said that the dedicated Action button for the camera has been removed from the X300U, or at least it doesn’t exist on the engineering sample. And something else that the old and new models have in common is the circular island. The large ring on the back might be seen again on the X300 Ultra’s design.

There have been other reports that the Vivo X300 Ultra will bring at least two 200MP cameras (Primary and Telephoto). And the third one could be a 50MP Ultrawide (Samsung HPB). The suspected primary lens might have multiple focal lengths on the Sony LYT 901 sensor.

One number that’s almost guaranteed on the X300 Ultra’s specs sheet is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. A 7,000 mAh cell probably gives backup to the phone. There’s also an Ultrasonic fingerprint ID on it. The X300 Ultra was already cleared by EEC for launch in Europe, so we expect it to be a global device.
