Following the Vivo X100 series launch in China a few months back, Vivo is gearing up to roll out incremental upgrades under the X100s series banner. Today, the spotlight shines on the Vivo X100s Pro, as it appears in the Google Play Console listing, shedding light on some of its key specifications.

The Vivo X100s Pro, sporting the PD2324 model number, has been confirmed to house a MediaTek chipset with the codename MT6989. This chipset, otherwise known as MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, is the company’s top-tier offering competing against Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

It shares the same powerhouse chipset as its predecessor, the regular Vivo X100 Pro. Boasting a formidable configuration, it packs a punch with its arrangement of 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.25 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A720 at 2.0 GHz.

According to the GPC listing, the X100s Pro will utilize up to 16 GB of onboard RAM, though alternate configurations may also be in the pipeline. As expected, the Vivo's flagship 5G model will run on the latest Android 14 straight out of the box, with Origin OS 4 for the Chinese market and Funtouch OS 14 for international markets.

The smartphone's display will pack 2,800 x 1,260 pixels densely packed into 560 ppi, with a curved design akin to its predecessor. However, speculation arises as tipster Digital Chat Station suggests the possibility of a flat AMOLED display, challenging the initial render provided by Google Play Console.

Anticipated improvements in camera capabilities remain under wraps, but if history repeats itself, the Vivo X100s Pro will continue the legacy of stellar photography associated with the X100 series. Expectations run high for the return of ZEISS lens technology and a triple-camera setup with a distinctive circular design, aligning with the aesthetic of the regular Vivo X100 Pro.
