Vivo V70 Series May Discontinue All 4G Devices in 2026; V70 FE & Elite Expected to Join

Vivo V series devices have a rather short retail cycle. Their new V60 lineup is almost on the verge of being replaced. Apparently, the company has already lined up the Vivo V70 and V70 Lite for early 2026. Both are 5G-ready, by the way. There’s now at least one official certification that proves their existence.

The V70 Lite was found on Bluetooth SIG and FCC. BIS cleared the Vivo V70. These listings didn’t reveal much, though. The Lite sibling usually has a 4G LTE version, but a leak says there might not be one next time. In fact, there’s not even a cheaper “e” model in the lineup anymore.

We have two new handsets in the picture: Vivo V70 FE and V70 Elite. Paras Guglani sourced this information and disseminated it on X. He says that whatever device you may find in the Vivo latest flagship mobile, it will be based on 5G.

We can’t say if this is just a market-specific phenomenon or if it’s happening globally. The leaker might just be talking about his home market. That’s why we look forward to the certifications. The FE and Elite phones will have to show some proof before we believe they are real.

The leaker, Paras Guglani, is rarely proven wrong with these sorts of leaks. His track record lends him some credibility. Now, there wasn’t much to go on in terms of the device specification. These phones are pretty much a mystery when it comes to that. But there is an interesting theory.

There’s a chance the Vivo V70 is just a rebranded Vivo S50, and as such, it shares those specs as well. That’s why you can hope to see 1.5K resolution on it with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may even have a triple 50MP camera setup on the back.

Three 50MP sensors (main + telephoto + Ultrawide) and one 50MP sensor on the display for selfies make the V70 a semi-flagship. And, there is probably a 6500mAh battery and 90W wired charging here. This is just the beginning of the leaks. We’ll have more to share with you as time goes on. Keep watching the news for updates.
