Vivo globally launched the Vivo V70, and now they are teasing it in Pakistan. The preparations have obviously begun, and we have found the V70’s potential cost and launch date for our market. Before we drop the price bomb on you, better take a look at its specs, so you have the full picture.

Vivo V70 reached the global market before Pakistan, so the specs aren’t a secret anymore. In fact, everything is available right on the company’s local website, so you can verify these specs if you want. Vivo V70’s design is new, but most of its hardware is consistent with the Vivo V60.
The screen adapts to the new design, and it’s completely flat this time. The AMOLED size is dropped to 6.59 inches, and the resolution is boosted to 1.5K (1260 x 2750p). There’s the same 120Hz refresh rate. The usable brightness is slightly higher on the latest Vivo Flagship model at 1,800 nits HBM.

The OS is updated to Android 16, by the way, so you no longer have access to Funtouch OS. It’s all Origin OS from this point onward. There are still 4 years of Android updates and 6 Years of Security updates waiting for the V70 user down the line. Sadly, no performance upgrade is expected with this newcomer.

V60 and V70 have the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. That’s a 4nm platform, and the boost clock speed hits 2.8GHz here. Adreno 722 iGPU pulls the load during gaming. But the higher resolution is suspected to put more stress on this chip. Battery efficiency might take a hit.

The battery size or charging hasn’t changed either. A 6,500 mAh cell with 90W charging makes a comeback with the Vivo V70. This newcomer’s 50MP periscope telephoto camera ups the zoom range to 3.7x. The main camera is the same old 50MP shooter with another 50MP lens for ultrawide photos.
Then comes the selfie sensor, which is a 50MP outsole. This setup can now do 4K 60 FPS videos. A snappier Ultrasonic fingerprint reader is installed on the Vivo V70. The body is not plastic anymore. It’s actually an aluminum alloy middle frame, and it has the usual IP69 rating. Our sources report the Vivo V70 (12/256GB) might launch in Pakistan on March 2nd at roughly Rs 170,000.
