Vivo V70 Lite Unveiled with Familiar Design, Updated Chipset, and OriginOS 6

We’ve been waiting for the Vivo V70 Lite’s official launch for a while, and they finally unveiled it yesterday in the UAE. Sadly, the excitement quickly faded as we learned about its specs and saw its design. There are barely any upgrades over the older V60 Lite, sans the performance.

They did install a new chipset on the phone. Dimensity 7400 Turbo is being used on the Vivo V70 Lite this time. That’s a 2.6GHz chip with Mali-G615 MP2 GPU. Vivo V60 Lite wasn’t too far behind with its Dimensity 7360 (2.5GHz). Both chips score close to a million points on AnTuTu.

That’s the only meaningful upgrade you’ll have with the Vivo V70 Lite. This newcomer has the same two lenses on a pill-shaped deco as the older version. There’s a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The design is so similar that it will be hard to tell them apart at first glance.

The screen on this device is a 6.77” AMOLED with uniform bezels. And this AMOLED is actually a FHD+ 1080p panel that hits a 120Hz refresh rate. 3000 nits is officially rated peak brightness for this screen. That punch hole you see on the front is a 32MP selfie camera. Here you can find out the newest Vivo phones prices in Pakistan 2026 all in one place.

Of course, the fingerprint reader (optical) is built on the screen. You do get the new and updated Android 16 software with the V70 Lite out of the box, though it isn’t shipping FunTouch anymore. The V70 Lite will rather use OriginOS 6 as the custom UI.

By the way, Vivo V70 Lite is thin (7.59mm), but it’s quite durable. The official IP rating it supports is IP65 with full dust ingress safety and partial waterproofing. There are dual speakers here, and sound can be boosted to 400%. The camera will do 4K video recording.

All this hardware is run by a BlueVolt 6500 mAh cell. That capacity is decent enough for a full day’s use, even if you are a power user. And it quickly refills over a 90W FlashCharge input. Vivo V70 Lite is not cheap, though. The base trim at 8/128GB costs $299 (~PKR 83,000), and the 8/256GB version is close to $354 (~PKR 98,000). It seems they’ve axed the 12GB RAM variant that we last saw with the Vivo V60 Lite.
