Vivo V29 Bags Certification from GCF; Promises 5G-enabled SoC and Imminent Global Launch

Vivo is cooking up something exciting — rumors suggest. It’s another semi-premium mid-range collection by the company boasting the title “Vivo V29 series.” Fresh off the introduction, leaks claim the lineup features Vivo V29, V29 Pro, and V29 Lite variants. 


As for today’s exciting report, we’ve discovered that the standard Vivo V29 has received approval from the esteemed GCF authority. It means the device is underway for an imminent global release. The launch could happen anytime in the coming weeks.

Per the details unearthed via the GCF certification document,  the Vivo V29, with the model number V2250, comes with an extensive range of 5G antenna bands n1, n2, n3, n5, and many more. The device may not explicitly include "5G" in its name; however, it does feature a 5G-enabled processor. 


While we eagerly await further specifications from official sources, the Vivo V29 has been making waves across various certification platforms. From IMDA in Singapore to EEC in Europe, this latest Vivo flagship mobile is leaving no stone unturned. It even appeared on the testing grounds of Geekbench, showcasing its performance. 


From the details gathered through unofficial sources, many reported that the lineup would grace the stage in July. Vivo V29 Pro has also been abuzz in the leak circles, rumored to feature a stunning 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, a whopping 12 GB of RAM, a generous 256 GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 66W charging.

Its camera specs also transcend with a captivating 64MP Primary main camera with OIS. All-in-all, V29 Pro has a spec sheet that promises to leave us in awe. Prepare for Vivo's grand unveiling of the V29 series as it nears to heighten the competition in the smartphone market.
