Vivo V29 5G Appears on Geekbench; Imminent with 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 778G Plus Chip

Earlier this year, Vivo caught the world's attention with the Vivo V27 5G, featuring the groundbreaking Dimensity 7200 chipset. And now, the Geekbench benchmarking platform has shed some light on the upcoming Vivo V29 Pro 5G, arousing curiosity among smartphone enthusiasts.

According to Geekbench, the Vivo V29 5G will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, boasting a powerful configuration with 4 x 1.80GHz and 4 x 2.40GHz CPU cores. The SoC is high-end, often mounted inside semi-flagship handsets. 

Accompanied by the Adreno 642L GPU, the oncoming device promises excellent graphics performance. With 8 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS, the V29 5G aims to deliver competitive multitasking.

Geekbench's single-core and multi-core tests showcased impressive scores of 1000 and 2803 points, respectively. The company has disclosed the V29 Pro 5G specs, but the official details surrounding the Vivo V29 5G remain secret. The Geekbench report is the only official indication of the latest Vivo flagship mobile’s existence.

On a related note, the official Vivo Philippines website has confirmed the V29 Pro's features, revealing a stunning 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device will also boast a remarkable 50-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel primary camera on the back, incorporating OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).

Moreover, the V29 Pro 5G abounds to sport 12 GB of RAM and a generous 256 GB of storage, catering to users with demanding needs. With a substantial 5,000mAh battery, the device will support 66W fast charging. Furthermore, rumors suggest that the V29 Pro 5G will house the Dimensity 8200 chipset, competing in the flagship segment. We are yet to discover the series' launch date.
