Vivo S60 Teaser Reveals iPhone-Like Design and New Color Ahead of Launch

The Vivo V series refreshes every 6 months, and so does the “S” lineup in China. Vivo S50 was the last set of devices to appear in December 2025, and now the Vivo S60 lineup is coming soon. In fact, they’ve started teasing the standard Vivo S60 in China. These are the details we were able to collect from official and unofficial sources.

They’ve shown the design in teasers; yet another iPhone 17 Pro copycat. The camera island is huge, and it spans the entire upper section of the device. Lenses stay on the left, and the flash is pushed to the other edge. The only thing we’ll call original is the color.

Vivo latest S mobile was actually teased by Han Boxiao himself on Weibo. You may also know him as the company’s product manager. The back can be seen in the images they shared. There was one render of the side profile. It has some normal volume and power buttons.

The teasers were helpful enough to figure out its design, but we had to look elsewhere for the rest of its specs. The rumor mill seems to be actively monitoring the internet for specs leaks. Apparently, this newcomer is built around a 6.59” flat AMOLED.

This AMOLED screen will be an FHD+ 120Hz panel, the kind we usually see on midrange handsets. There are some reports online predicting a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip inside the Vivo S60. It’s high time they let go of the SD 7 series chipsets. This could push the S60 into the semi-flagship class.

Of course, cameras will be a big deal for the Vivo S60 series. At least on the base model, we are hoping to see a 200MP main shooter and a 50MP telephoto. They’ll probably secure an IP69 rating for it. There’s supposed to be a second Vivo S60 Pro mini handset in the lineup, but the teasers didn’t mention it at all. Vivo S60 will be called Vivo V80 in the global market.
