Vivo has a semi-flagship mobile series underway, with the launch just around the corner. It’s the S16 lineup inching closer to launch slated for December 22nd. The newcomer line includes Vivo S16, S16, and S16 Pro. Although the specifics of these devices are yet to be confirmed, their designs and colors are already out.

With the Vivo S16e, the design is pretty dry and cut. Users will find a straight slab with no curved edges, a flat-screen with a punch-hole, and three camera units on the back with a humongous mounting plate. The phone uses an unconventional ring light flash. It will ship in three colors Lavender, Purple, Cyan Green, and Black.

The highest-end sibling, the S16 Pro, abounds with Green and Black color options. Identical to most flagship smartphones, the S16 Pro will bring a curved screen with minimal bezel widths. The selfie camera will reside inside the top-centered punch hole. And rectangular island on the back housing three lenses and a ring light LED.

Lastly, we have the Vanilla S16, which appears to have an identical design to its Pro S16 sibling. The new Vivo S mobile has three color options; Gold, Black, and Green. Advertisement names for these colors are still undiscovered.

Ahead of an event-based reveal, S16 Pro’s concrete specifications have surfaced. It will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 4600mAh battery will help boot it up, and a 66W plug will back up recharging.

The Pro includes a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz and has a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. A 50MP sensor will head the phone’s rear camera setup. Its highlighting feature will be an OIS-supported 50MP selfie shooter.
