The still-recent Oppo flagship duo – the Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, is to be joined by a 'Lite' variant based on a leaked render. The edition, allegedly dubbed Oppo Find X2 Lite appears to feature a revamped design language and a downgraded specification sheet to meet a lower Oppo price tag. Although this leak by Pricebaba only details the former.

As per the render published by Ishan Agarwal, the Oppo Find X2 Lite features a bezel-free display with a dew-drop notch stretching into it. The back-facing panel sports a light gradient design and vertical camera housing. Oddly enough, however, the ‘Lite’ edition rocks a quad-camera setup, we'll have to wait and see how Oppo prices the upcoming handset.

One of the stark differences is the absence of the elaborate periscope module that we see mounted on the Oppo Find X2 duo. If you go by the markings next to the LED flash, the ensemble does allow for ‘Ultra Steady’ image stabilization, but no additional details have been leaked yet. Upon a closer look, the phone seems to be a rehashed Oppo Reno 3 Vitality Edition that was released in February this year.

To recall, the standard and premium editions for the Find X2 both debuted with a robust triple-camera setup and a punch-hole-touting front panel. If the latest OPPO Find X2 Lite edition is, in fact, Reno3 Vitality Edition, you’re looking at a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel that produces an FHD+ resolution. The camera inside the notch could have a 32MP lens behind it. The screen would also embed a fingerprint reader underneath it.

The primary camera will be a 48MP module, combined with an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a pair of 2MP macro and monochromatic sensors. Oppo Reno3 Vitality Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset with an octa-core processor and an Adreno 620 GPU baked into it. Oppo has paired it with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

That being said, take it with a pinch of salt at this point, and we’ll have to wait until more concrete details become available.
