The global announcement for the Tecno Spark 50 Pro was followed by an official launch in Bangladesh, which means the phone is now sailing the high seas, and it will reach more Asian countries before long. We are hoping to see this device in Pakistan soon. You should get familiar with the device before that happens.
The Spark 50 Pro has two variants, split by battery size. Tecno phones that usually end up in Pakistan have a bigger cell. In this case, the Spark 50 Pro is shipped to Bangladesh as a 6000mAh version. There’s also another 5600mAh build, which obviously doesn’t have as much endurance.
No matter the variant, the battery is rated for 1900 cycles either way. And the phone can do 60W fast charging, which is also standard on both versions. It would only take 30 minutes to refill 63% capacity on the Spark 50 Pro. The design’s obviously not original.
They took the camera layout of the Tecno Pova 8 and slapped it on the horizontal bar copied from the iPhone 17 Pro. That doesn’t mean the optics are also on the same level as those two phones. This Spark 50 Pro actually has a single 50MP main rear sensor. By the way, here is the Tecno Price Catalog in Pakistan which will help you compare all available options.
That’s a Sony LYTIA 600 unit. The shutter speed of this sensor is 1/10,000th of a second. They call it FlashSnap, and it’s meant to take stills of fast-moving objects. Then comes the selfie snapper, which is 8MP resolution, not as high-end as the main camera, but serviceable.
This newcomer does not have an AMOLED, by the way. It seems to have very chunky bezels and an even more extreme chin at the bottom. The Spark 50 Pro caps the screen resolution to 720p HD+. The LCD is 6.78”, and it pushes pixels at 120Hz. The phone itself is 7.8mm thin.
Android 16 comes by default on this Spark 50 Pro, and the chipset running it is the Helio G100. That’s the same 2.2GHz CPU they put on the Spark 40 Pro last year. This newcomer does have a far better IP68 and IP69 rating, and SGS gave it a 5-star drop safety rating. Tecno hid the availability and pricing info. But the phone will eventually land in Pakistan. Keep watching the news for updates.
