Tecno Camon 50 and 50 Pro Indexed on Google Play Console with Key Specs & Renders

Tecno will soon update the Camon series once again, and the newcomers have already been listed on the Google Play Console with some of their key specs. If it wasn’t clear, we are talking about the Tecno Camon 50 and 50 Pro here. Both listings had the phone’s front renders, and this is how they look.

You can tell that the Camon 50 Pro, which the Google Play Console listed with the model code Tecno CN5c, is actually built around a curved AMOLED screen of a possible 1080p resolution. The exact size wasn’t specified anywhere. We can’t help but assume it may have the same dimensions as the Infinix Note Edge.

That punch-hole selfie cutout is expanding into some sort of a Dynamic Notification system. There’s a power button and a volume rocker on one side. The other side seems to have an extra key, which we believe could be used ot summon ELLA AI assistant.

It could also be a customizable key like the Hot 60 series. By the way, that extra button is present on both handsets here. The basic Camon 50 made the GPC cameo as a flat design with uniform bezels and possibly an AMOLED screen. The punch hole is really small here. Google Play Console had more than just the renders and display stats. We also learned that these devices either have the Helio G100 or G200 chip. The chips are hard to distinguish. Anyway, the boost clock speed is 2.2 GHz, with an 8-core architecture, and the GPU is a Mali-G57 (1069 MHz).

It means the Camon 50 Pro and Camon 50 are both 4G devices, and such phones usually land in Pakistan. GPC continues to mention 8GB RAM on either handset and a Beta Android 16, which is assumed to be the prototype HiOS 16.

They launched the Camon 40 series at MWC Barcelona last year, so that may be true for 2026 as well. That event is usually due in early March. We’ll let you know if we have any other updates about the Camon 50 series. Keep watching the news.
