Tecno Camon 18 Premier and Spark 8P Clear Their Google Play Console Certifications

The Camon 17 series, the latest line of Camon budget phones, came out in May this year. But Tecno is shifting to a bi-annual release calendar to keep up with the competition. The next-gen Camon 18 Premier is already in the works. Over the weekend, the phone cleared its certification along with the new Spark 8P.

Tecno secured Google certifications for the two phones. You can find the Tecno Camon 18 Premier listed under the model number “TECNO-CH9.” The system details attached with the listing specify the MediaTek Helio A22 inside the Camon 18 Premier.

Tecno Price in Pakistan 2021

This low-end mobile platform was introduced in 2018 (so it’s already three generations old.) It’s a huge step down from the Helio G90T that powered its predecessor, the Camon 16 Premier. But the Camon 18 Premier seemingly maintains the other specs from the last Premier.

We’re looking at a 1080P screen with a hole-punch cutout. If this panel is competitive like Camon 16 Premier's, it refreshes at 90Hz and supports HDR10+ content. Tecno offers the Camon 18 Premier with at least 8GB of multitasking memory despite the low-performing chip. The latest Android 11 (featuring HiOS UI) runs on this hardware.

The Spark 8P is the sister edition of the Spark 8 that recently debuted in Africa. It can be found on the Google Play Console database under the model name “TECNO-KG7.” No word on the Tecno mobile price yet but the Helio G70 is at the heart of this phone, working with at least 4GB of memory. You also get an FHD+ screen and the latest HiOS. The release dates of these phones are yet to surface. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
