Samsung Galaxy S26+ Spotted in the Wild Just Days Before Galaxy Unpacked

Renders and dummy unit leaks have been a regular occurrence for the past few weeks. But today, we’ve found real-life images of the Galaxy S26 Plus. This kind of leak only appears days away from launch. The rumored February 25th Unpacked schedule is definitely true.

It was an X user (@Kakooli98) who originally found these mages. It was actually a Craigslist seller’s listing. Someone was selling the prototype Galaxy S26 Plus unit for $1,650. It’s definitely not a dummy unit, because it has a working screen on it.

We were able to identify the Galaxy S26 Plus because it has that same camera island design we’ve been seeing in leaks. They’ve added a raised platform between the lenses and the phone’s body. That’s the look they have from the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The front of the phone may look familiar to some of you. The new Samsung Galaxy model is virtually the same device as the Galaxy S25 Plus; that could be the reason why. S26 Plus was actually a last-minute addition to this year’s lineup, so it doesn’t have many upgrades.

They initially thought of replacing the Plus with the S26 Edge. But Samsung may have discontinued the Edge lineup altogether. By the way, the genuine price of this newcomer won’t be $1650. Yes, there’s a price hike coming, but the S26 Plus may cost around $1000.

The S26+ is being promoted to Gorilla Glass Armor 2 with ceramic anti-reflective coating. That’s the same display treatment as last year’s S25 Ultra. It will secure either an Exynos 2600 (2nm) or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It will be an uneven regional distribution.

The S26+ is still 7.3 mm thin. It’s built around a 6.7” AMOLED. 158.5 mm length is reported with 75.8 mm width. And the weight is also kept consistent at 190 grams. And those wondering about the battery should know that it’s still 4,900 mAh on the Galaxy S26+. Keep watching the news for more updates.
