Galaxy S26 Pro is on track for launch. It’s a new installment in the lineup that recently got registered on GSMA’s IMEI database. Ever since its appearance, this phone has been on every leaker’s radar. A new report sheds light on its battery and display specifications.
The three classics are disbanding. Galaxy S26 Pro is replacing not one but two models in the S series. A new leak suggests it may carry a 6.27” display, just a notch below the Galaxy S25’s screen size. Dimensions stay the same; only the bezels shrink for a bigger viewable area.
Digital Chat Station, the source that revealed S26 Pro’s display size, also confirmed the battery capacity on the model. Apparently, it stores 4300mAh of energy per charge. It’s only a 300mAh boost over the existing cell on Galaxy S25, but it could translate to hours worth of extra screen time.
This isn’t the first time Samsung’s new Pro model's battery has been leaked. That same number was touted before by GalaxyClub. The publication also wrote about Galaxy S26 Edge and S26 Ultra, believed to host 4200mAh and 5000mAh batteries.
Samsung could finally concede and give fans what they want: faster charging for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It’s now pegged at 60W, which is still not enough to compete with Chinese flagships, but it’s a start. S26 Pro’s charging setup is a mystery for the time being. We do, however, have a few clues about its camera setup.
The S26 Pro, as a replacement for the vanilla S25, could use the same camera setup. It will bring back the 50MP main lens and a 12MP Ultrawide shooter. As always, you can expect the third shooter to be a standard telephoto camera, though its resolution is unknown.
A Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 awaits the entire lineup for a few international markets. The Exynos 2600 is back in the fold and will be taking over for most of the regions. Samsung is also said to be testing Qi2 magnetic wireless charging for the series. We have plenty to look forward to. More updates are on the way, so keep watching the news.
