Samsung Galaxy S23 Series will Bump Video Recording from 8K/24 FPS to 8K/30FPS

The latent Galaxy S23 Series will soon head out, expectedly, in the starting days of February 2023. Ahead of that, rumors are apace revealing crucial features of the phone. Several developments over the past few weeks have denuded almost every aspect of the series.

The latest development adds to the camera performance of the upcoming Galaxy line. On his Twitter handle, the ever-reliable tipster Ice Universe corroborates that all three models, Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, will support 8k video recording at 30 FPS. On paper, it's a 25 percent performance jump over the S22 series' 8K @24 FPS.

Rather than relying on 24fps to evoke the classic "cinematic film" look, recording 8K videos at 30fps replaces it with a smoother, more usable nature. In layperson's terms, the 8K performance, instead of being a gimmick, might become a streamlined feature on the S23 series.

8K recordings mainly rely on faster processing and boosted read/write speeds on the Samsung Galaxy's latest model phones. Elevated frames per second indicate improved storage speeds on Galaxy S23 devices. The same principle applies to 4K recording at 120 FPS.

According to some rumors, 4K recording at 120FPS is also possible with the upcoming Galaxy S series. Capturing cinematic shots at 4k with added slow motion will become possible if the rumors come true. Since 8K video appears to be a gimmick, most will prefer 4k 120FPS, which will drive up the use of cameras for content creation.

Whether or not these features will turn up in the series is still a mystery. There's no binding word or commitment from the chain yet, so we suggest you take this news with a hint of skepticism.
