Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch is just around the corner. Tomorrow's Unpacked event will feature the global debut of the S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra. In a last-minute leak, promotional images have confirmed the series' long-rumored and probably the most exciting quality; the special edition Snapdragon SoC made exclusively for the new Samsung phones.

At this point, no one's unfamiliar with Samsung's Exynos Vs. Snapdragon tiff. The flagship variants with Exynos almost always lose if compared to their Snapdragon counterparts. It was about time Samsung resolved the long-complained issue.

Addressing the issue, Samsung has made the entire S23 catalog Snapdragon exclusive. Exynos variants are out of the picture. Moreover, the chain is reinforcing said Snapdragon chip by overclocking its performance. Leaked images shared by tipster @rquandt on Twitter corroborate earlier reports.

The images show Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 icon in the bottom right corner with the black label saying "For Galaxy." It's a solid lead confirming that Samsung is mounting its latest 5G Samsung mobile phones with a special edition of SD 8 Gen 2. Reports mention it boasts 3.36GHz clocks, while its mainstream version only does 3.1GHz.

Samsung has allegedly signed a contract with Qualcomm Inc., which is now offering a faster and more specialized version of its flagship SoC for the first time. The partnership will probably extend to mid-range models, hopefully ending segregated Galaxy phone performances across different regions.

The new and improved chip on Galaxy phones flexes higher GPU and CPU clocks than any other Android phone in the market. The S23 lineup is genuinely evolved and will likely bear the highest-ever price tags. The starter Ultra variant is assumed to cost over 1500$, bumped from 1100$ last year. Other S23 siblings will follow suit.
