Samsung has yet another Galaxy M-series phone in the works currently. The Galaxy M52 5G has already been featured in a leak and benchmark listing, and it was certified in China today. Official sources have yet to announce the new Samsung Galaxy A52 cousin but with the certifications underway, its release should be right around the corner.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G can be found on the Chinese 3C certification database under the model name ‘SM-M526BR.’ The document contains the battery specifications for the M52.

Compared to the beefy 7000 mAh battery the Galaxy M51 rocked, the Galaxy M52 features a standard 5000 mAh cell. You can expect 25W quick-charge support to power this battery. The phone was also spotted on Geekbench; its scorecard also gives us the system specs.

Samsung Galaxy M52 is the first one on the Samsung price list to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778. It’s a 5G-focused mid-range chip designed to bridge the gap between Qualcomm’s flagship and budget platforms. The phone hits 776 points on single-core and 2877 on multi-core tests, promising a bump in performance over the previous-generation Snapdragon 730G.

You get 6GB of multitasking memory and the latest version of OneUI running on this build. The camera system would feature at least three lenses — a wide 64MP ISOCELL GW3 sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro shooter. Out on the front, the Galaxy M52 houses a 32 MP camera. The Galaxy M52 5G is offered in White, Black, and Blue shades, and it could start around 330 to 360 euros (~ Rs. 62,000 to 68,000.)
