Samsung is working on a sequel of the Galaxy M51, the Galaxy M52 5G. No official announcements have been made yet, but the Samsung Galaxy A52 cousin is securing back-to-back product certifications. Plus, its specs have already been leaked.

Most recently, the Bluetooth SIG authority signed off on the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G. You can find it listed on the public database under the model numbers “SM-M526B_DS” and “SM-M526BR_DS.” The ‘DS’ points to dual SIM support. Since it’s a connectivity certification, the documentation doesn’t feature any system specs.

For those details, we turn to the leaks mentioned above. The Galaxy M52 has the Snapdragon 778G at its heart — it’s built on a 6nm process, designed to bridge the gap between mid-range and flagship chips from Qualcomm. The mobile platform is paired with 6GB/8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage.

Last year’s Galaxy M51 was the first on the Samsung price list with an oversized 7,000 mAh battery. But the M52 trims it down to a standard 5,000 mAh. Instead of the previous-gen 25W charging speeds, this upcoming Galaxy comes with a 15W power brick. OneUI 3.1, based on Android11, powers the phone.

The screen is a 6.7” SuperAMOLED panel with a hole punch (off-center) and a 1080P resolution. A narrow bezel surrounds this display, and a 32 MP front camera is housed inside it. The shell is flat, featuring a glossy finish. You can pick from blue and black shades. The optics system features a 64MP wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two 5MP cameras.
