Samsung Galaxy A57 grabs another certification just before its official debut. The date has not been confirmed yet. But there’s a chance it will arrive halfway through February. The teasers will start flooding in soon. This is all we have on the Galaxy A57 so far.

Galaxy A57 was just found on the Bluetooth SIG database. Actually, it made multiple entries there with several model numbers. We believe they are region-specific versions of the A57: SM-A576B, SM-A576C, SM-A576Q, SM-A576S, SM-A576U1, SM-A576W, SM-A576Z, and SM-A5760.

That’s quite a big roster. It practically guarantees that new Samsung Galaxy mobile is intended for the global market. And it will surely launch all over the world once the event is over. Bluetooth SIG didn’t get into the specifics of this device, so we had to look elsewhere for details.

TENAA has also cleared this newcomer for the Chinese launch, and its listing was a lucky break for us. We found some of Galaxy A57’s specs there. Apparently, it’s built around a 6.6” Flexible Super AMOLED that has an FHD+ resolution or 1080p panel. There’s also a new octacore chip on it.

Samsung will put a 2.9GHz SoC on the A57, and we’ve known about this chip for a while now, courtesy of Geekbench. This is probably the alleged Exynos 1680 processor. We also heard that it has an Xclipse 550 GPU onboard, which is based on RDNA 3.5 technologies.

By the way, they’ve decided to reuse the old 5000mAh cell. Samsung has obviously made some changes to the battery design, which is why the phone’s body is now 6.9mm thick. TUV is another certification platform that rated this handset for 45W charging.

There were rumors that the ultrawide camera would be promoted to 13MP. But we didn’t see that number on the TENAA listing. All it revealed is a 50MP Main camera with 12MP + 5MP secondary sensors. The A57’s software will be One UI 8.5 with Android 16.
