Samsung Galaxy A52 Grabs the Latest Update in Asia; October 2023 Patch Rolls out

Samsung continues its commitment to mobile security by rolling out the October 2023 security update to more of its mid-range smartphones. Following the Galaxy A53, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is now in the spotlight, receiving the latest security patch. The update is available in numerous Asian and European countries.


The LTE variant of the Galaxy A52 has commenced receiving the October 2023 security patch, accompanied by firmware version A525FXXS6DWI1. Users in countries such as Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Thailand, the Caucasus region, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Vietnam can now install the security update.

For those in the United States, the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A52 5G is currently getting the new update. It comes with firmware version A526USQSBEWI5 and is compatible with Comcast, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile networks. Additional carriers will join the roster soon.


The Galaxy A52, available in Pakistan in its 4G configuration, will collect the latest October security patch soon. Upon availability, the Samsung latest A model will send you an alert. Users can manually install the update by heading to Settings > Software Update > Check for updates.


The option to install the patch should pop up once Samsung has unlocked the security patch for Pakistan. Furthermore, there's another exciting news on the horizon for Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G users.
