One of the eligible devices officially slated for One UI 7 is the Galaxy A35. This handset was released last year in March, and it’s also available in Pakistan ever since. A bit of good news for those who have it — Galaxy A35 has started receiving Android 15 x One UI 7 update as of today.
This has been long-anticipated, but we finally get to see One UI 7 on Galaxy A35. The update was first spotted by an X leaker. We now have confirmation that the Korean A35 variants are already grabbing Android 15 off Samsung’s servers, and there’s a possibility it will reach more regions in a few days.
The new firmware code for this build is “A356NKSU4BYDD,” and it should look almost similar in other countries. Of course, this will upgrade your entire operating system, add new features to the device, UI tweaks, and bump the core system from Android 14 to Android 15, so it has a massive download size of 3.5 GB.
Also, part of the package is the April 2025 security patch that should boost the privacy and protection of your Samsung A latest model. So, what changes are we looking at with One UI 7? Well, there’s limited information on the Changelog, but generally, the new update adds some new features and changes the UI.
On Android 15 x One UI 7, the status bar is split into two sections (Quick Panel + Notification Bar). The quick toggles are bigger, and there’s a new volume slide in the mix. Samsung is catching up with other Android phone makers. The native Samsung Apps get new icons, which is not as big a change, however, it deserves a mention.
There are tons of new widgets and better customization for the quick panel. Notifications are bigger and more readable now. An app drawer that allows vertical scrolling, some new AI features, a personalized lock screen, and better Knox security are all part of this massive system overhaul. There are some other changes, but you should read Samsung’s release notes to get a better sense of the update.
Upon availability, Pakistani A35 users should navigate to Settings > Software Update > tap “Check for Updates.” The One UI 7 is expected to arrive soon in Pakistan. A “Download and Install” button might appear in the update menu of the Samsung A36's predecessor, letting you initiate the process. After a quick boot, your Galaxy A35 will welcome you to the latest Android 15 x One UI 7 system.
