The rollout of the current-gen Galaxy A phones is still going on strong in many markets. But the next generation of the A-Series is already in the works. In addition to the Galaxy A13, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A73, the Samsung Galaxy A32's successor is also coming next year. A publication based in Europe leaked the possible release timeline of this Galaxy A33.

Courtesy of GalaxyClub.nl, we learn that the Samsung Galaxy A33 will debut in early 2022 — either February or January. Samsung overhauled the entire Galaxy A-line with 5G support this year, so the Galaxy A32 is offered in both LTE and 5G options. But the A33 will reportedly come in a single 5G variant.

That covers all the details we have right now. That said, the A33 launch seemingly lines up with the Galaxy S22 series release. We expect more specs to surface in the weeks that follow.

Since Samsung's new model phone is likely built on the Galaxy A32 spec sheet, we’ll review what its predecessor has to offer. The A32 has a refreshing, minimalist casing. We might see the design return in the Galaxy A33.

The chip inside the Galaxy A32 is the entry-level Dimensity 720 from MediaTek. It works with 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. The screen is an underwhelming TFT panel with a weak 720P resolution. We could be looking at 48MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro cameras. Everything is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 15W charging.
