Samsung Galaxy A08 Early Listing Reveals 6,000mAh Battery and 50MP Camera

Samsung Galaxy A08 was found on an early retail listing in the UAE. This newcomer was added to the Google Play Console last month, and it had already given up some of its specifications back then. The rest of its specs showed up on the online store.

The newcomer’s actually listed for AED 625 (discounted from AED 659) on the Virgin Megastore listing in the UAE. That’s possibly the base price for a 4/64GB trim. Galaxy A08 looks exactly the same as the current A07, though we do see some tweaks in the camera island.

The screen’s still plagued with thick bezels and a huge chin. The black borders are also quite thick, though the screen maintains a good size. It’s a 6.7” PLS LCD at a 90Hz refresh rate. Again, there’s no upgrade here. It gets the same HD+ 720p resolution.

They’ll fit a 6000mAh battery on the Galaxy A08 this time, up from 5000mAh. That is, if the model shown in the listing is a 4G trim. The older Galaxy A07 5G already had a 6000mAh battery. But the Samsung latest A model will have a 25W charging input either way.

They hid the chipset name from the listing. It’s a 2.2GHz platform with a base 2GHz clock speed. It’s probably a Helio G99 chip again. The product description actually showed 6GB and 4GB RAM options with 128GB storage. That means the Galaxy A08 has more than one variants

There are three cameras on the handset, by the way. Two on the back are a 50MP main + 2MP depth mapper. And the third is an 8MP selfie camera on the screen. Galaxy A08 should have a single speaker and a fingerprint reader on the side.

The Silver color can be seen in the images right here. It also has a Green and Navy Blue finish. Galaxy A08 has a plastic build, but it’s quite durable with an IP64 splashproof rating. Some details are still missing, though. We’ll let you know if there’s any development. Keep watching the news.
