It’s almost been a whole year since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A03s back in August 2021. Now the launch of its successor, Galaxy A04s, seems to be near, as the smartphone has surfaced on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification site with the model number SM-A045F/DS. The DS here confirms that the handset supports dual-sim functionality.

The listing confirmed that this upcoming entry-level Galaxy iteration will run Android 12 right out of the box. Samsung Galaxy A04s will feature dual-band WiFi supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. Furthermore, the listing also reveals the WiFi ac/n/a/b/g connectivity to be supported by the upcoming handset.

Previously, the handset was also spotted on the Geekbench website, affirming Samsung's very own Exynos 850 SoC paired with a Mali-G52 MP1 GPU. Samsung has also used this chipset combination on Galaxy A13. This is a surprise as it was expected to come with the same Helio P35 chipset as the Galaxy A03s.

An earlier leak also presented a refreshing back design of Samsung A new model with protruding camera lenses and no camera bump at all. However, no camera details have been confirmed yet.

The Galaxy A04s is tipped to arrive with the same 3GB RAM configuration as its predecessor, featuring a 6.5” HD+ TFT panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. and a V-shaped notch which Samsung calls the Infinity-V display. Rumors suggest the presence of a 5000mAh battery to turn the lights on, with 10W standard charging.

Weighing just 149g, the dimensions are reported to be 146.2 mm x 70.9 mm x 8.3 mm. The Galaxy A03 will also support microSD expansion. Samsung is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the Galaxy A04s, but the certifications are hinting at its imminent launch.
