Redmi Note 15 5G Listed for Sale Ahead of Official Launch; European Price Revealed

The company hasn’t globally announced the Redmi Note 15 5G yet, but its unofficial retail listings are popping up everywhere. Belgian Telnet has put the device on sale, apparently. The online store exposed the phone’s price and pretty much all of its specifications.

We have to warn that some details might be inaccurate, since this wasn’t an official listing. The base Redmi Note 15 5G model seems to be a 6/128 GB trim. And it’s way more expensive than we thought. The starter price given at Telnet is €280 (~PKR 92,000).

By the way, the Belgian retailer listed a 6/128GB variant and nothing else. Obviously, there will be more options, and they will also have sky-high costs. Europe has different customs and taxation rules, which might be why it’s so expensive there. It might be different in Asia, though.

The product listing also showed specs. From what we have gathered, the Redmi 5G new model is running a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which is a 2.4GHz platform. This isn’t exactly a midrange phone. Xiaomi has already teased a 108MP main camera on this phone, and the listing says so as well.

There’s going to be an extra 8MP Ultrawide sensor on the back as well. The selfie unit could be 20MP. Then comes the screen. This particular model will rely on a 6.77” AMOLED that curves at the edges. It’s 1080p, which is an old standard for premium phones.

They didn’t say if the phone has a 120Hz refresh rate, but it is a possibility. This is supposedly the cheapest option in the lineup, so they only secured an IP65 rating for it. EU Energy Label revealed the same thing, which means this durability rating is set in stone.

The 4G variant has also leaked in the days building up to the series launch, though its price was reported to be €200 (~PKR 67,000). That’s the device we are expecting to see in Pakistan. Redmi Note 15 4G has a Helio G100 SoC and no eSIM support. The price sounds reasonable if that’s the case. The launch should happen any day now. So keep watching the news.
