It’s time. The global deployment for the Redmi Note 15 series is about to begin. We just saw the first official teaser for Redmi Note 15 5G in one of the Asian countries. The short 18-second clip didn’t have a launch date, nor was it given in Xiaomi’s X/Twitter post description. But they did reveal the phone’s Main camera.

We know that the Chinese Redmi Note 15 5G has a 50MP Main camera. But it’s different for the global market. They’re swapping that primary sensor out for a 108MP Master Pixel Edition camera. The older Redmi 14 also has a 108MP shooter. There’s no telling what’s different about this new outsole (besides the name).

They only say on the Twitter post that it’s faster. Stronger. Simply better. The phone has made a cameo in retail listings and plenty of leaks. We can easily surmise what its hardware setup looks like. The Main camera is different from the Chinese model. But the rest of the specs are identical, from what we can tell.

There’s possibly a 6.83” AMOLED screen on the front. The Redmi new flagship mobile will only have an FHD+ resolution. Plus, there’s a chance of a 120Hz refresh rate, since that’s what the Chinese model had. The screen will obviously have a punch hole. A 20MP selfie snapper will be hidden there.

Of course, there’s going to be a second camera on the back, possibly an 8MP Ultrawide sensor. The battery size is concerning, though. The Chinese Redmi Note 15 showed up with a 5800mAh cell, but the global version might drop the capacity to 5520mAh.

At least the Charging speeds will remain the same at 45W. There are some mixed opinions about the prospective chip, though. Some say they will use Dimensity 6300 on Redmi Note 15 5G. But there’s also a chance that a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 will show up here.

The leaks don’t mention any other options besides the 8/256GB, but there are clearly more than one trim. There’s no doubt. This is just one of many teasers that are on the way. So keep watching the news, and we’ll keep you in the loop about all the new developments on the Redmi Note 15 series.
