The brand new Redmi 9 successor landed in Pakistan today. Xiaomi Pakistan announced the new Redmi 10 at 6 p.m., following which it is now available in stores nationwide. We have the features and pricing to report.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 delivers a more immersive mobile experience than ever. The screen refreshes at 90Hz when you’re scrolling or gaming. AdaptiveSync tones it down to 60Hz and 45Hz based on the content being rendered. Dual speakers provide surround stereo sound — it’s the first Redmi in this line to feature two speakers.

The chip inside the Redmi 10 is the refreshed MediaTek Helio G88, designed to power 90Hz displays. One 5000 mAh backs up the mobile platform. It’s advertised to last 14 hours of video streaming and 158 hours of video playback. The build includes a 3.5mm audio jack, thumbprint reader, and an IR Blaster remote.

Xiaomi ships the phone with a 22.5W power brick in the box but the Redmi 10 supports 18W charging. You get 6GB/4GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage — expandable up to 512GB with a dedicated microSD card slot. The MIUI 12.5, based on Android11, runs on the device. The handset is now available at an affordable Xiaomi mobile price.

It weighs 181g and measures 8.92mm in depth. Its four cameras live inside a four-sided plate. We’re looking at an array of 50MP f/1.8, an 8MP ultra-wide with an FoV of 120°, and two 2MP macro and portrait lenses. The front camera, housed inside an O-hole cutout, is 8MP. Redmi 10 comes in Pebble White, Carbon Gray, and Sea Blue shades.

Lastly, the screen is a 6.5” IPS LCD that peaks at a 1080P resolution. It’s toughened with Gorilla Glass 3 and supports Reading Mode 3.0. Redmi 10 4GB variant starts from Rs. 29,999 (available online only). And the top-end 6GB edition costs Rs. 32,999.
