Xiaomi Redmi 10 to Launch in Pakistan Soon With Helio G88, 90Hz Screen, and Dual Speakers

Last year’s Redmi 9 series set a new standard for what cheap, entry-level phones can do. This budget lineup helped Xiaomi overtake Samsung in global sales (the Redmi 9A was the best-selling Android phone last year.) Xiaomi is hoping to recapture that success with the Redmi 10, which is coming to Pakistan very soon, according to official sources.

The timeline for the launch has yet to be announced, but Mi Pakistan teased the Xiaomi Redmi 10 arrival in a Twitter post. We’ll review what this entry-level phone has in store for us.

The Redmi 9 series brought several mid-range features to the value segment — from 1080P screens to high-performance chips and even fast-charging. Redmi 10 builds on these competitive specs with new upgrades.

For starters, the Redmi 10 screen now delivers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Through AdaptiveSync, the new addition to Xiaomi price list auto switches between 45Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz to save power. We’re looking at a 6.5” IPS LCD featuring a 1080P resolution and Gorilla Glass 3.

To drive the resource-hungry display, the Redmi 10 has the Helio G88 at its heart. This brand new MediaTek chip is specifically designed to power new-gen 90Hz screens. It’s all powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 18W fast-charging support. Xiaomi ships the phone with a 22.5W power brick in the box.

Also, the audio system on the Redmi 10 is more impressive than ever. Xiaomi has integrated dual speakers into the phone for stereo surround sound. Plus, the frame includes a 3.5mm audio jack and a thumbprint reader.

Lastly, the camera setup on the Redmi 10 is perhaps the best-in-class. The quad-camera array uses a 50MP f/1.8 wide lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and two 2MP macro and portrait lenses. Selfies are taken with an 8MP front camera.
