Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime to Feature MediaTek Helio G88; Specs, Pricing, and Launch Date

The rollout of the Redmi 10 series, continues with yet another edition. While the Redmi 10 is releasing today in Pakistan, the upcoming Redmi 10 Prime is set to launch globally soon, featuring high-value specs. Xiaomi has already started teasing the phone’s promos and the release.


The Redmi 10 Prime is slated for a unveil on September 3. It will be launched in India first and should arrive in more markets, including Pakistan, in the weeks that follow. Here are the features and pricing.

Reportedly, the Redmi 10 Prime also runs on the MediaTek Helio G88 — a 12 nm chip tweaked for 90Hz screens and light gaming. It’s perfect to drive the 6.5” screen on the Prime. The panel is an IPS LCD that delivers a 1080P resolution. And the front camera is housed inside an O-hole cutout.


The upcoming Xiaomi mobile phone is all powered by a 5000 mAh battery that quick-charges at 18W. You get 6GB/4GB of multitasking memory. Plus, 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. Xiaomi ships the Redmi 10 Prime with the latest build of MIUI.

Four cameras — a 50MP wide lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP macro and mono sensors — are mounted on the backplate. Redmi 10 Prime should also include a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, a slot for storage expansion, and a side-facing thumbprint reader. Reports put its expected price at $148 (~ Rs. 24,600.)
