The brand is ramping up excitement for Realme GT 7, slated for global launch on May 27th. The ad campaign for the device is in full swing, and the latest teaser confirms it has a massive 7,000mAh battery — slightly smaller than the 7,200mAh battery we saw on the Chinese model, but still impressive.

Even if the capacity is downgraded over its Chinese counterpart, we are certain that Realme is positioning the GT 7 as a flagship powerhouse with a key focus on battery longevity. Also, we found out in the teasers that it sports a faster charging input than the original.

Realme GT 7 in the global market will bring up to 120W fast charging, which is a tad faster than the Chinese variant’s 100W input. It should offset the smaller battery size with faster charging and keep the general user experience even across the board.

There have been other teasers for the Realme flagship new model, and one of them exposed the company’s new graphene-based temperature solution. Realme calls it the “World’s first graphene cover IceSense design,” which is a back cover made out of graphene and fiberglass to dissipate heat coming from the battery and the chipset.

Realme has released a paper, researching “The Future of Battery Tech” with TÜV Rheinland, and it talks about a new type of battery for Realme GT 7 that has AI health management and a heat dissipation mechanism for proper recharging and long-term battery health.

Realme GT 7 will recharge from 0-100% in just 40 minutes. This is a massive 7000mAh cell using 120W fast charging as backup. Realme seems confident in its hyper-speed charging solutions. It already holds a record with the world’s fastest 240W input on the Realme GT 5.

The company wants to break the boundaries once again, as it now starts preparing a 320W fast-charge solution. This was recently demonstrated in a video with Realme CEO Chase Xu sharing details about a concept device with a 10,000 mAh battery.

It’s beyond any doubt that Realme will soon start implementing these features on consumer devices. Until the day comes, the Realme GT 7 sets a pretty decent benchmark with a 7000mAh battery and 120W charging speed in the global market.
