A successor to the Realme C73 might be in the works. The company did unveil the Realme C85 and Realme C85 Pro, but they never got to the devices positioned below. A leak today revealed the storage options and the price tag for a phone called Realme C83 5G.
Realme C83 5G will have less power than the original Realme C85, or at least that’s what the name implies. The leak came from XpertPick, by the way. And this is as reliable a source as any. We learned about each of the phone’s storage options and the potential prices for those versions.
There are three trims. And it starts at the bottom with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. We have another 4GB RAM variant, which doubles the storage to 128GB. Those two will work just fine, but neither 4GB RAM nor 64GB storage is recommended in 2026. Apps have gotten extremely RAM-hungry.
There is a third option for the Realme new C model, which features 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Now that’s the option everyone should pick. This would mean a tad higher price tag than the others. Realme C83 price is floored at around $148. The middle version is ~$160.
The one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost ~$192. That’s entry-level pricing, by all means. The specs will fit that category, of course. The older C73 version wasn’t too shabby, by the way. So the Realme C83 already has the basics down, specs-wise.
The leak only mentions two colors for it: Sprouting Green or Blooming Purple. Realme C83 is going to succeed the device that had a 6.67” LCD and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen was low-res (HD+). But it did go all in with the power and durability.
Realme C73 5G was built around a 6000mAh battery that plugged into a 15W wired charging kit. They got it tested for an IP64 waterproof rating, and SGS gave it a Military Grade Shockproof certification. It lacked in the camera department, though.
