Realme launched an ultra-low-cost uni-camera smartphone back in June. This phone's moniker was Realme c30, and it had a great run. Now the Chinese manufacturer is cooking up a spin-off model of the same phone. Realme C30s, as they call it, got listed officially revealing some specs, features, and previews.

Realme C30s will roll out on soon via a live pre-recorded event hosted on Social media and Youtube. As per the brand's usual practice, the new sibling of the Realme C35 will launch in India first before it can be released to the other markets. Here is a brief outline of the phone's internals.

Realme reveals a 5000mAh battery inside the C30s, and it hooks up to an unspecified octa-core processor. AnTuTu benchmark gives it a score of 106,409 (typical with low-end, entry-level phones) for hardware-based performance. The performance is lacking compared to the existing C30 twin, which scores over 175,000.

For privacy & security, C30s will use a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the power key. The company claims a one-second touch-to-unlock speed. Moving over to the front view, the upcoming addition to the Realme price catalog features a 6.5-inch drop-notch screen with 16.7 million colors and an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio.

The brand hasn't yet revealed the complete feature set, but It's reasonable to expect that Realme C30 and C30s specs will more or less be the same since they are twin lookalikes. For perspective, take a look at the C30 specifications.

A 5MP selfie, 8MP rear Uni-camera, triple-slotted SIM tray, UFS 2.2 - 32GB storage, 3GB Memory, a Unisoc T616 processor that can compete with Mid-tier phones, MicroUSB & 3.5mm jacks, and last but not least a 6.5-inch 720p IPS LCD screen.
